If you ever wanted a list of the Coalition’s capacity for corrupt and duplicitous shenanigans, then this is it. An updated version is also available - as the list keeps on getting longer with each new revelation of shytefokery.
From sports rorts to Paladin and watergate, there’s something for everyone with its chronicled compilation complete with links.
My personal favourite is An*us Taylor and his forged documents, his watergate scandal and his propensity to want to hide energy price hikes before an election by literally changing legislation to delay the announcement.
Who can go past the Robodebt fiasco and subsequent payout while not admitting any wrongdoing. Let’s not forget a certain merging of the AFP into the Home Affairs Department which allowed a certain minister to exert political influence on investigations.
.. and a reminder of the incredible lack of tender process in more than one suspicious enterprise - with Paladin taking out the award for the dodgiest all-time deal of the decade of almost half a billion dollars to a shack on a beach.
While 5-ministries Morrison’s final escapades have not been included here, they are still fresh in people’s mind and only a keystroke away - but who would want to subject themselves to a fresh round of misogynistic rhetoric, copious undercooked curries and a spluttering rendition of April Sun in Cuba ever again ?
